How should investors assess credit markets currently?


After a strong showing since Q1 2016, investors may be well advised to take a closer look at what the credit markets are offering.

David Lloyd, Head of Institutional Fund Management, looks at current conditions in the UK and European credit markets and assesses valuations and how some of the key market drivers are developing. He also looks at how the market’s structure has changed since the 2007/8 financial crisis and considers what might be a good strategy currently, for long-term value investors.

The value of investments will fluctuate, which will cause prices to fall as well as rise and investors may not get back the original amount they invested.
