Richard Macey is a highly experienced employee of M&G having joined the company in 1995. Over this time, he has held a variety of client serving roles, where he has worked with charities, stockbrokers, consultants and IFAs.

For the past ten years, Richard has concentrated solely on M&G’s Charities business, responsible for providing expert support to consultants and charity investors on all aspects of charity assets.

Richard graduated from the University of Southampton in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Population Studies.


George Barbett, Client Relationship Manager

George Barbett joined M&G in 2018 and has since covered various facets of M&G’s UK Wholesale Team, including: Discretionary, Advisory and Strategic Partnership accounts, joining the dedicated Charities team in 2019.

Alongside Charities, George also covers a broad range of intermediaries including: Platforms, Rating Agencies, Nationals & Networks, Life & Pension Providers and Banks & Building Societies.

Preceding university, George worked for Royal London Asset Management from 2013-14 in their Institutional Client Account Management Team.

George graduated with a first class honours degree in Music from the University of Southampton in 2017 and is working towards completing the IMC.
