Registered Provider Sector

We are the leading trustee within the Registered Provider sector where we act as Bond/Security trustee and work very closely with many banks and other financial institutions. Over the last few years the most common structure within this sector is the Security Trust. This enables properties to be charged to a trustee and then allocated to a specific lender by the Trustee, under Borrowers/Lenders instructions, to meet the lender’s loan-to-value covenant within each of the loan agreements.

The structure provides advantages to the Borrower and the Lender and some of these are:

Charge properties to the security trustee on acquisition or immediately post development.
Use properties as an 'unallocated' element of security ready for use as security for a new loan.
Move security from one lender to another without having to discharge the underlying security making re-financing much easier and cheaper.
