Mark Davie

Mark Davie, Head of Social Housing

Formerly Head of Social Housing at Dexia and an experienced Non-Executive Director on a housing association board, Mark joined M&G in 2010 as Head of Social Housing. Mark’s focus is to develop social housing investments marrying the needs of consultants and pension funds on the one side and housing associations on the other.

Oriane Auzanneau

Oriane joined the Social Housing team in December 2014, having previously focused on direct lending to mid-size UK companies. Oriane joined M&G on the graduate scheme in 2008, following a one year internship at Calyon in France. She has a Masters in Management from EDHEC Business School and an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde Business School. Oriane is a CFA charterholder.

Jacqueline Stapley

Jacqueline joined M&G in 2012, working in Investment Services as a Client Administrator. She moved to the Social Housing team in November 2014 and focuses on the administration and analysis of social housing assets.

Prior to joining M&G, Jacqueline worked at the Bank of New York Mellon as a Fund Accountant. Jacqueline graduated from Oxford Brookes with a degree in Business and Sociology. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

William Nicoll

Will Nicoll, Co-head of Alternative Credit

William joined M&G Investments in 2004 and is Co-head of Alternative Credit. He is responsible for the development of various products including credit solutions for institutional investors, social housing and other aspects of non-bank lending.

Prior to joining M&G, William was Head of European Credit at Henderson Global Investors and before this had worked at Cazenove & Co in corporate bond research and fund management.

William graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University with a degree in Natural Sciences. He is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.

Stephen Coghill

Stephen Coghill, Associate Director

Stephen joined M&G Investments in September 2005 as part of the Fixed Income Graduate recruitment scheme. After spending a number of years working as an analyst and secondary Fund Manager in Structured Credit, he is now an Associate Director in the Alternative Credit team specialising in the origination and acquisition of illiquid investment opportunities. Stephen is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Prior to joining M&G,  he worked on the Sales & Trading floor at Goldman Sachs as a summer intern. Stephen graduated in 2005 with a Masters in Mathematics from Oxford University.

Tim Morris

Tim Morris, ABS Credit Analyst

Tim joined M&G's fixed income credit research team in 2007 and is a credit analyst in the asset-backed securities team. He specialises in analysing the credit, structural and legal risk of Housing Associations, SME CLOs, and other property-backed securitisations. Tim also has a role in the development and maintenance of models and other systems used by the team in their analysis process.

Prior to joining M&G, Tim was a student at the University of Manchester where he completed his Masters in Mathematics. He is a CFA charterholder.

Ben Jones

Ben Jones, Real Estate Income Fund Manager

Ben joined M&G Investments in 2006 to work on the development, launch and on-going fund management of the M&G Secured Property Income Fund.

Ben has 20 years experience in finance (corporate credit analysis, debt syndication, corporate and structured finance, investment management and real estate acquisition) and has focused specifically on property fund management since 2000.

Prior to joining M&G, Ben worked with Westpac Institutional Bank in Australia, where he was actively involved in the establishment and development of Westpac’s expanding property fund management business, covering all aspects of the fund establishment, asset acquisition, capital structuring and debt and equity raising processes.

Ben holds a Masters of Commerce in Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Peter Manners Smith

Peter Manners-Smith, Real Estate Income Deputy Fund Manager

Peter joined M&G Investments in 2010 as Assistant Fund Manager on the Secured Property Income Fund (SPIF). Working closely with Ben Jones (Fund Manager) in Fixed Income and colleagues in M&G Real Estate, Peter focuses on the management of SPIF.

Prior to joining M&G, Peter worked for Cushman & Wakefield Investors as an Investment Manager. He was responsible for portfolios invested in unlisted property funds on a global basis.

Peter joined the real estate industry in 2007 and is a Chartered Surveyor and an FCA Approved Person.  He holds a BSc (Hons) in Investment and Finance in Property from the University of Reading and an MPhil in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge.
