M&G’s Leveraged Finance team enables investors to access the European Leveraged Finance market in a number of ways. We have a reputation for innovation, being one of the first European Institutional Investors in the market. We also secured the first European segregated leveraged loan mandate for a pension fund in 2003, and were the first institution to offer an investment in leveraged loans through a mutual fund structure in Europe.

Separate accounts

M&G’s Leveraged Finance Business manages separate accounts of European leveraged loans for institutional clients, having been awarded the first ever European segregated pension fund mandate in 2003 in the asset class.

Institutional credit funds/CDO

M&G’s Structured Credit Products Business has launched a series of Collateralised Debt Obligations (‘CDOs’) and Collateralised Loan Obligations (‘CLOs’).
