If you would like to know more about CTF transfers and details on the recent changes in regulation, take a look at some key questions and answers. The value of investments, and the income from them, will fluctuate. This will cause the fund price to fall as well as rise and you may not get back the original amount you invested. Step 1: choose the fund or funds into which you’d like to transfer your CTF

At M&G, we specialise in offering a wide range of funds available within The M&G Junior ISA, investing in key asset classes such as equities, bonds, property and multi-asset funds.

Step 2: read the relevant Key Investor Information Document (KIID) and the Important Information for Investors document (III)

The KIID contains key investor information about a fund, including details about the fund’s different share classes. It also explains fund charges, including the ongoing charge, a deduction from your fund which M&G makes to cover the costs of investment management and administration.

The III document contains details about how to invest, together with M&G's Terms and Conditions and your rights as an investor.

Step 3: complete and return the Child Trust Fund transfer application form

Send your completed CTF transfer application form to us at:

M&G Investments
PO Box 9039
CM99 2XG

Once we have received your completed CTF transfer application form we will contact your previous Investment Manager on your behalf to request the sale of your CTF holding. We usually expect to receive the transfer proceeds within 30 days, after which time we will issue a Welcome Pack relating to your investment with us. Your existing CTF provider may make a charge for carrying out the transfer. We carry out all the paperwork to transfer your CTF to M&G free of charge. Whilst your investment is being transferred it will be out of the market for a short period of time and will not lose or gain in value. Junior ISA tax rules may change in the future and Junior ISA tax advantages depend on your individual circumstances.
