M&G Equities Range - Expertise Matters

I would like to invite you to attend the M&G ESG Forum on Thursday 8 March at our Governor’s House offices, with registration from 9.30am.

The event has been scheduled in response to the growing demand for information regarding M&G’s Environmental, Social, and Governance investment capabilities and processes.

To provide an introduction, we have arranged a morning of presentations from a number of key teams within the M&G business that have a focus on ESG.

Rupert Krefting, Head of Corporate Finance and Stewardship

Rupert Krefting

Rupert Krefting joined M&G in March 2016 and was appointed Head of Corporate Finance and Stewardship, Equities. Rupert has worked in investment banking for more than two decades. Most recently, he was at Numis, where he was a director in its corporate broking and advisory business for 8 years. Prior to his move to Numis, Rupert held senior roles at Investec and Panmure Gordon on the advisory side

Ben Constable-Maxwell, Director of Corporate Finance

Ben Constable-Maxwell 

Based in London, Ben Constable Maxwell joined M&G in 2003 as a senior investment writer covering global and European equities, before joining the investment specialist team supporting the global equity product range, with particular responsibility for the M&G Global Basics Fund. Since 2012, Ben has provided Corporate Governance and ESG support to the global equity investment teams. He is also a founding member of M&G’s Responsible Investment Advisory Committee.

John William Olsen, Fund Manager

John William Olsen, a Danish national, joined M&G in April 2014, and was appointed fund manager of the M&G Global Select Fund and M&G Pan European Select Fund in July 2014. He was later appointed manager of the M&G European Select Fund and deputy manager of the M&G European Smaller Companies Fund in July 2016. John William joined M&G from Danske Capital, where from 2002 he had managed non-domestic equity portfolios, including the Global Stock Picking and Global Select equity funds, and also the European Select strategy.

Stefan Isaacs, Fund Manager

Stefan Isaacs

Stefan Isaacs is Deputy Head of Retail Fixed Interest for M&G's mutual fund range. He joined M&G as a graduate in 2001 and was subsequently promoted to corporate bond dealer specialising in high yield bonds and euro-denominated credit. Stefan joined the fund management team in 2006 and was appointed fund manager of the M&G European Corporate Bond Fund in April 2007 and the M&G Global High Yield Bond Fund in October 2010. He is co-fund manager of the M&G (Lux) Floating Rate High Yield Solution, launched in August 2017 and the M&G (Lux) Global High Yield ESG Bond Fund on launch in October 2017. Stefan is also deputy fund manager of the M&G Optimal Income Fund, the M&G European High Yield Fund and the M&G Global Floating Rate High Yield Fund.

William Nicoll, Head of Alternative Credit

William Nicoll

William Nicoll joined M&G Investments in 2004 and is Co-head of Alternative Credit. He is responsible for the development of various products including credit solutions for institutional investors, social housing and other aspects of non-bank lending. Prior to joining M&G, William was Head of European Credit at Henderson Global Investors and before this had worked at Cazenove & Co in corporate bond research and fund management.
