

Michael McLintock - Chief Executive
Michael McLintock is the Chief Executive of M&G a position he held at the time of M&G's acquisition by Prudential in March 1999. Michael graduated with a first class honours degree in Modern History and Economics from Oxford University and joined Morgan Grenfell as a graduate in 1983, working in both the investment management and corporate finance departments. In 1987 he moved to Barings as a corporate financier before joining M&G in October 1992. He is also an executive director of Prudential.

Simon Pilcher - CEO Fixed Income
Simon Pilcher is a Director of M&G Limited and Chief Executive of the Fixed Income division. Prior to joining M&G in September 1998, Simon spent nine years at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management leading fixed income teams investing in investment grade corporate bonds and major G7 government bond markets. Simon has an honours degree in management studies from Trinity Hall, Cambridge.

Ed Rosengarten - CEO M&G Equities
Ed Rosengarten has been Chief Executive of the Equities business since 2001. In 2005 this business took on responsibility for M&G retail fixed income funds. Ed is a director of M&G Group, as well as MAGIM and M&G Securities. He is also a non-exec director of M&G Equity Investment Trust PLC. Ed has a Masters degree in Economics from the University of London.

William Nott - CEO M&G Securities
William Nott joined M&G as a graduate from Warwick University in 1984. In 1998 he joined the Board of M&G. In June 2000 he became Chief Executive Officer of M&G International to oversee the development of M&G’s fund distribution into Europe. In March 2006 he was appointed Chief Executive of M&G Securities, the combined Retail Business covering the UK, Europe and Asia.

Philip Johnson - Group Finance Director
Philip was appointed Group Finance Director of M&G in March 2003, and is responsible for strategy, financial reporting and tax. Philip joined M&G in 2000 from Prudential, where he had worked in the Corporate Finance team in Group Head Office for three years. Prior to that, Philip qualified as a chartered accountant at Coopers & Lybrand. Philip graduated from Cambridge in 1993 with a degree in history.

Martin Lewis – Chief Operating Officer
After 17 years with JP Morgan Chase, Martin left his role as a Senior vice President in Global IS to join M&G in 1996 as IT Director. In 1997, Martin joined the M&G Board as IT and Retail Operations Director. With the acquisition of M&G by Prudential in 1999, Martin became Chief Operating Officer for M&G Group.

Anthony Ashplant - Legal and Compliance Director
Anthony Ashplant gained an LLB from King’s College, London University in 1976 and qualified as a barrister in 1977. He practised at the Criminal Bar until 1979. From 1980 to 1982 Anthony was Company Secretary and legal adviser to a charity fundraising company. Since 1983 he has held various legal and compliance roles at M&G. During 1996 Anthony managed M&G’s retail fund administration department. He has been the Legal and Compliance Director of M&G since 1997.

Gareth Jones - HR Director
Gareth was appointed HR Director for M&G Group in June 2007. He was previously Head of Training & Organisational Development, having joined Prudential’s fund management business in 1998, just ahead of its integration with M&G. Prior to this Gareth held a range of commercial and business management and development roles, including Managing Consultant with a management development consulting business, working in banking and asset management. Gareth has an MA in Modern Languages from Oxford University.

Les Scrine - Group Risk Director
Les Scrine ensures that M&G manages risks in accordance with the expectations of its shareholders, clients and regulators. He joined the company as an actuary in 1982 and has since carried out a variety of roles in financial analysis, risk management, product development and business restructuring.

Martin Moore - Managing Director PRUPIM
Martin is the head of PRUPIM (please note this link opens in a new window), the real estate investment arm of M&G. PRUPIM is one of the most active participants in the UK property market and has a fast growing international presence too.
