For the majority of M&G funds two share classes are available to investors: Sterling Class A Shares and Sterling Class X Shares.
Sterling Class A Shares – this share class has an initial charge which varies between 0 and 4%, depending on the fund but does not have an exit fee. If you buy this share class online you may be entitled to a discounted initial charge.
Sterling Class X Shares – this share class does not have an initial charge but does have a reducing exit fee. The reducing exit fee applies to shares sold or transferred out of that share class within 5 years of investing.
Please note that each fund has a nominated share class which is the share class that you will be allocated if you do not choose a share class at the time of application.
