Fund objective

The Fund aims to maximise long term total return (the combination of income and growth of capital) through investment mainly in commercial property

Policy for achieving objective

The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of commercial property mainly in the UK, seeking to add value through strategic asset allocation, stock selection and asset management. The Fund may also invest in other property related assets, including collective investment schemes, securities, derivatives and debt instruments, as well as government debt, money market instruments and cash.

About the fund manager

Fiona joined PRUPIM (please note this link opens in a new window) as an investment surveyor in 1994 and was appointed fund manager of the M&G Property Portfolio in 2007. Before joining the group, Fiona worked for Knight Frank where she had joined as a graduate in 1990. Fiona has a first class honours degree in estate management from South Bank University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Investment Property Forum.
