The Fund aims to achieve long term capital growth through investment in North American securities using a value based investment philosophy.
The Fund invests in companies in excess of $1.5 billion. The fund manager seeks to select solid companies whose share prices do not reflect their potential value.
Richard joined PPM America in 1992 and is Executive Vice President and Head of Equity Management. He has responsibility for the health care, banks, insurance, hospitality and diversified industrials sectors.
Previously, Richard was a senior member of the investment team at the Chicago group of Morgan Stanley Asset Management. Prior to this, he spent seven years at Hewitt Associates and also worked at the First National Bank of Chicago in their investment trust unit.
Richard graduated from UCLA with a BA in Economics and also holds a MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program in 1982.
