The Fund aims to maximise total return (the combination of income and capital growth) through investment anywhere in the world with a core in the UK. The Fund is an actively managed fund investing solely in other authorised collective investment schemes, including schemes managed by M&G.
The fund manager selects holdings from all funds available in the UK market. He uses a team of economists to determine the asset allocation.
George Tsinonis joined M&G in November 2000. He is Head of the Equity Structured Products team, which is responsible for managing a range of low risk active and passive funds.
He has more than eight years investment experience in UK, European, Japanese and US equities. Prior to joining M&G, George worked at TRW Investment Management in London where he was responsible for all index equity funds business for the in-house fund and had sector-specific responsibilities on UK active funds.
George graduated in South Africa with an Economics and Accounting degree in 1992. He went on and obtained an Honours degree in Investment Management in 1993. George then graduated from the University of Birmingham UK with an MBA. He completed his IMC in 1997.
