The Fund invests in a wide range of securities of Japanese issuers, covering most aspects of the economy. Its sole objective is long term capital growth. Income is not a consideration when investments are selected.
Dean Cashman joined Prudential Asset Management (Hong Kong) in 2004 as a director of investments. He is currently fund manager of the M&G Japan Fund and co-manager of the M&G Japan Smaller Companies Fund. Dean began his investment career in 1988 with BT Funds Management in Australia. In 1992, he started covering Japan and became the head of Japanese equities four years later.
Dean graduated from Queensland university with a BA in economics.
