How to invest in The M&G Savings Plan
Before investing always remember to read and retain the Key Features (1 MB) first. You will require Adobe Acrobat to view this pdf. These key features cover everything you need to know about The M&G Savings Plan including fund details, charges, pricing and our transaction processes.
You may also wish to seek financial advice regarding the suitability of your investment.
Once you’ve decided upon your M&G Savings Plan fund/s you can:
- Set up regular monthly payments by Direct Debit from as little as £10. When doing so online you need to make your first payment via debit card then simply print and complete the Direct Debit form for all subsequent payments and return it using the freepost address provided.
- Move or ‘switch’ between M&G Savings Plan funds or from an M&G Savings Plan fund to an M&G ISA fund if your current investment no longer meets your needs. Please note that we recommend that you confirm any charges applicable to your switch and which day's price you will receive by calling our Website Helpline or reading the relevant product key features prior to making this transaction.
- Add a lump sum payment to top up your M&G Savings Plan with a minimum of £500 via a Switch/Maestro or Delta debit card. Please note for security reasons you may invest a maximum of £7,200 per debit card transaction.
When transacting online you will need your:
- National Insurance Number (if you’re switching into an M&G ISA);
- Switch/Maestro or Delta debit card; and
- Bank account and sort code (if you would like any income from your investment paid out to you).
Alternatively you can always download our full range of M&G Savings Plan application forms and Key Features and send the completed forms to us at the freepost address provided.
Please note should you ever wish to amend your direct debit online you will need to re-enter your full direct debit instructions for all of your M&G holdings, as any instructions amended online will replace the current direct debit set up we have in place for you. Remember to include the monthly amount/s you wish to pay into each fund and your correct bank details.
