How to invest within The M&G ISA Before investing remember to read and retain the Key Features (3 MB). You will require Adobe Acrobat to view this document. The Key Features cover all you need to know about The M&G ISA. You may also wish to seek financial advice regarding the suitability of your investment. We are unable to give advice. If you are unsure about the suitability of your investment, speak to your Financial Adviser.
Once you’ve decided upon your M&G ISA fund(s) you can:
Make a lump sum payment
You can make a lump sum via a Maestro, Switch, Mastercard Debit, Solo, Visa Debit, Visa Delta or Visa Electron card. Find out more about investment limits for lump sum payments.
Set up regular monthly payments
You can set-up regular monthly payments by Direct Debit. Make your first payment (via lump sum) online then simply print and complete the Direct Debit form and return it using the freepost address provided. Please note that each fund has a nominated share class and Sterling Class X shares are not available for investment by Direct Debit unless they are the nominated share class. Further information on nominated share classes is covered in the Key Features (3 MB).
Complete an ISA transfer
If you have an ISA with another provider which you’d now like to transfer to M&G you can complete an ISA transfer form (3 MB). We carry out all of the paperwork for you free of charge, however your existing ISA Manager may make a charge for carrying out the transfer. You should note that your investment will be out of the market between the sale of the existing ISA investment and the purchase of your M&G ISA. Please note your current provider may apply a charge when you transfer your investment. Whilst your investment is being transferred it will be out of the market for a short period of time and will not lose or gain in value.
Switch between M&G funds
Move or ‘switch’ between M&G ISA funds (3 MB) without losing your tax benefits if your current M&G fund no longer meets your needs. Please note that we recommend you confirm any charges applicable to your switch and which day's price you will receive by calling our Website Helpline or by reading the Key Features (3 MB) prior to making this transaction.
With M&G you can invest online, by phone or by post. Find out how to invest.
