How to invest within The M&G ISA
Before investing always remember to read and retain the Key Features first (1 MB). You will require Adobe Acrobat to view this document. These Key Features cover all you need to know about The M&G ISA including fund details, share classes, charging structure, pricing and our transaction processes. You may also wish to seek financial advice regarding the suitability of your investment.
Once you’ve decided upon your M&G ISA fund/s you can:
- Make a lump sum payment initially from as little as £500 (or £100 top up) up to the value of £7,200 in an ISA per tax year via a Switch/Maestro or Delta debit card.
- Set up regular monthly payments by Direct Debit from as little as £10. Make your first payment (the minimum investment is £500) online then simply print and complete the Direct Debit form and return it using the freepost address provided. Please note that each fund has a nominated share class and Sterling Class X shares are not available for investment by direct debit unless they are the nominated share class.
- Complete an ISA transfer form if you have an ISA with another provider which you’d now like to transfer to M&G. For the short period of time that your Stocks & Shares ISA is in the process of being transferred, you may lose out on some income and or growth if the market rises. Some investment providers may charge you to transfer your investment to another company, so please remember to check with your current provider before you transfer.
- Move or ‘switch’ between M&G ISA funds without losing your tax benefits if your current M&G fund no longer meets your needs. Please note that we recommend you confirm any charges applicable to your switch and which day's price you will receive by calling our Website Helpline or by reading the relevant product key features prior to making this transaction.
When transacting online you will need your:
- National Insurance Number (if you're opening an M&G ISA for the first time);
- Switch/Maestro or Delta debit card; and
- Bank account and sort code (if you would like any income from your investment paid out to you).
Alternatively you can always download our full range of ISA application forms and Key Features and send the completed forms to us at the freepost address provided.
